Funniest Church Signs Ever & Creative Witnessing Tips (Video)

Ayvaunn Penn, All Christian News

Our country’s atmosphere is thick with controversial discussions of gun control, gay rights, and women’s rights. Why not take a moment to laugh? People always accuse Christians of not being able to have any fun. Let’s show them they are wrong. Take a look at the video below, courtesy of Christian Post, which features some of the most hilarious church billboards across the nation. While you chuckle along, however, here is some food for thought:

1.) A key part of furthering the kingdom of God is sharing the good news with non-believers. One of the biggest challenges in spreading the gospel to strangers and even friends is just knowing how to break the ice. If you have ever had trouble in that area, a number of the church billboards in this video can serve as a great way to strike up a conversation about the gospel.

2.) When was the last time you shared the plan of salvation with someone? A lot of times as Christians, we can get so caught up in the culture of “witnessing through your actions.” Although witnessing through our actions is powerful, we cannot forget the importance and impact of a good ole conversation. Try setting a goal to verbally witness to someone before the end of this week.

3.) Lastly but certainly not least, some of these billboards serve as great reminders for ourselves to continue on the straight and narrow path. How about that billboard that says “God answers knee mail”? As we get our laugh in for the day and reflect on the importance of spreading God’s word, let’s not forget about keeping ourselves healthy in our Christian walk. Yes we’re busy Americans with emails, cell phones, and all sorts of “i” Apple technology, but we must not neglect making time to honor the Lord.

Enjoy the video, and have a blessed week!
