For most people, it was a case of “that can’t be true” when pictures of Bishop Jeffrey Thomas and gospel singer James Hall surfaced online, showing the bishop appearing to be in bed with Hall seated on the same bed, albeit in the background. That picture created a social media storm, with many people saying it was inappropriate for the bishop to have even let the picture find its way online.
At the time, none of the two came out to say they were having a romantic relationship.
Later own, something happened that clearly rubbed Bishop Thomas the wrong way. Somewhat his hitherto lukewarm responses to questions about whether he and Hill had something going on was replaced with a more confident approach, with the bishop going as far as stating that he was having a romantic relationship with the gospel singer.
Now, there are court documents that have found their way to the public, alleging that Hall was enjoying s*x with some 10 men, including Bishop Thomas, who now appears to be nothing more than a jilted lover.
While Hall is denying having any such affair with Thomas, the bishop has insisted that this is the truth. According to Hall, the bishop got a wrong picture when all he did was to show him Christian love.
These must have been what pushed Bishop Thomas to spare some of his time to speak his mind on Larry Reid Live. Before Thomas came live, the hosts shared more about the court documents, giving a clear picture of how things have been playing out between the two alleged lovers.
When Bishop Thomas came online, he said he couldn’t give a detailed comment about the content of the court documents, but pointed out that so much was contained therein. Then he also pointed out that before things got bad between the two of them, they used to spend a lot of time together, with Hall flying to New York and he to flying to North Carolina. In his words, they shared an “intimate space together” and, as we can deduce, these “intimate” times must have been during their mutual visits.
Even though Bishop Thomas didn’t specifically say he had lost a good friend in gospel singer Hall, he highlighted that the time they spent together saw them get to know and get comfortable around each other.
In the lawsuit, Hall said, “There is no justification for this conduct. There is no justification for this conduct. Mr. Thomas has never expressed any purpose to his actions other than some imagined relationship he believes he has with me, and is nothing more than a disgruntled fan.”
