Pastor Carrying “You Deserve Rape” Sign Got Beat Up By A Woman

Dean Saxton, a pastor from Glendale, AZ, created a torrent of outrage from local residents for carrying an offensive sign outside of high schools and for his comments aimed at the LGBT community. According to sources, Saxton frequently visits the pavement outside of the schools with a sign that says, “You deserve to be raped.” One resident had enough of his displays.

Tabitha Brubaker, a 19-year-old student at Apollo High School, had enough of what she felt was hate speech and struck the pastor on the head with a baseball bat. According to local officials, Brubaker was charged with felony assault and possession of marijuana. Saxton caught the attack on video and later posted it to Youtube.

In the Youtube video, Saxton can be heard yelling offensive statements directed towards students. Around the 17-minute mark, the attack from Brubaker takes place.

“The Bible says it’s not okay to be gay,” he yells. “You need to stop doing naught, nasty things, Apollo High School. You need to stop looking up naughty, nasty things on the Internet.”

Despite being discouraged by teachers, Saxton continues his monologue and even calls some of them “evil.”

“I’m trying to influence the fact that you need to be gone,” one teacher says to Saxton. “I think you’re a disgrace to Christianity. Why don’t you go and preach it to somebody who really wants to hear your message, like Westboro Baptist Church?”

The teacher also voices concerns about Saxton videoing students without consent from parents.

Another adult is on the video and says that Saxton is likely not playing with a “full deck of cards” and discourages him by saying that “these kids don’t need to see that.” The attack from Brubaker soon follows.

Some believe it was only a matter of time that Saxton received more than just discouraging words from teachers and onlookers. He has been known to continuously speak out against the wardrobes of females, saying that they “deserve rape.”

“One street preacher said, you know, if you dress like it, you act like it, different things like that, you’re asking for it. Therefore, you deserve rape. And his last three words I felt like were nice, and I decided to put them on a sign, and go to the event,” Saxton once commented regarding yoga pants.
