There are many things in this life to be afraid of. However, fear of stepping out on faith to fulfill a dream or goal is all your imagination. This type of fear is draining and unproductive. Draining because it causes anxiety, unproductive because it isn’t real. It’s imagination! The biggest and most unfortunate failure is saying, “I wish I had____(fill in the blank).” Especially when the only thing that held you back was your imagination. How about using that energy to imagine in the opposite direction. You probably already know what it is you’d like to pursue, go for it! Practice imagining positive situations for yourself. Imagine yourself successful, on that dream job, your dream vacation, your own organization. Get clarity of your goal, map it out, visualize it. You might have to do some research about your particular subject or talk to people who already do what you want to do. But, whatever you do, don’t let fear be the determining reason not to move forward, don’t let it define you. Forget about limiting yourself, there’s no way to know what can happen. You could blow up from the floor up, something my husband says. No matter the outcome learn from it and press on. Dream big!
