The devil has taken over the world and is stealing the hearts of many. No one wants to question the things going on around them; they just follow blindly. People are tired of reading the Bible to know what the holy book teaches. That’s why many of today’s fake prophets manage to lie to their followers and drive them away from true salvation; pushing them away from serving the Christ of God to serving the prophets’ personal interests.
Where in the Bible are we instructed to go down on our knees or bellies to kiss the feet of a prophet? Surely, who’s being fooled here? How can grown men and women who have the ability to read and write and claim to follow the Bible do such an abominable thing in the so-called house of God?
Give it to Prophet Elvis Mbonye. This man knows how to manipulate his followers such that they don’t question anything he asks them to do. That’s why when he recently organized a dinner, a good number of his followers availed themselves. However, the dinner had no food at all; all his followers had to do was to line up for an opportunity to kiss the feet of the prophet.
But really, who’s this ‘Prophet’ Mbonye? For the benefit of those who don’t know, he’s a ‘prophet’ who runs a more than 5,000-seater church in Uganda, an East African country. He loves the fine things of this world; living in a palatial home, driving top of the range automobiles and complementing it all with high-end clothes. His estimated net worth is UGSHS. 650 million.
‘Prophet’ Mbonye isn’t the type who likes doing normal chairs. He likes it on chairs of gold, on which he exercises his authority.
When he moves around, he’s got a complete set of bodyguards, with his entourage boasting of chase cars.
“I have seen God and I will be answerable to Him. I do not get into people’s faces; they come to me…I’m not a pastor that I should frequently be with the sheep. As a prophet I decree the final thing,” said Mbonye.
The very charismatic ‘prophet’ insists that he’s been to heaven and seen it all. He also knows exactly what hell is like and that’s why he’s ‘doing his best’ to guide is followers to enter heaven and not hell. However, as for him, he starts the good life here on earth. He’s not going to live a poor life here; he’s not going to drive in a car in which he sweats.
“Hell is stuffy, poor, sickly, and degrading. I have been to heaven and it is a glamorous place with streets of gold. All attributes about God are glamour and beauty and I’m of God, so I will unapologetically be always on the side of what is rich. I have heard shallow debates where politicians defend themselves for being in air-conditioned cars. You want me to be in a car where I sweat? ” Said Mbonye.
